Preface - The purpose of this page and What it set out to achieve

By Karl Lawrence:

From this site you will be informed as to its purpose and its aims. You will have access to the various web pages that make up this site, by electing anyone of the various topics under contents' headings. Each heading will link you to a synopsis of that topic, from where you can link to the topic proper, if you choose to follow through. Whatever you decide, you will be able to navigate back to the contents page from where you may decide to link to another topic or subject matter or return to the home page: home: index page; again, from which you may move to Module 2-3 Index Page, which handles a different subject area.

The intention, here, is to inform visitors to the web site its purpose and its aims. And to guide the visitors around the site.

It is intended that the visitors should understand how to get the most from what the site has to offer and have on display. The site aims to make it simple to navigate and browse. The sites main purpose, though not entirely, is to deliver a professional and academic image because it will be read by an external examiner of the Open University - This site represents my End of Course Assignment (ECA).

The aim is to have the site working properly, having working links, moving from web page to web page, but being able to move from any page in whatever direction chosen; a site that attracts interest, one that doesn't distracted when reading; but present information effectively and unobtrusively.
